my christmas day started with this:

and i'm going out for the first time in 10 days because i've been sick so im  looking forward to that :)

you know why it didnt work for us?
its because you only believe what is physically visible, whereas i have the tendency to believe in what i feel. i know what im feeling isnt some fake emotion, its real. 
but you couldnt bring yourself to see underneath everything thats visible. 
not your fault or anything, its just the way you are.
and one of the many reasons i fell in love with you in the first place.


keep believing in what you want to believe.
someday, someone way better than me, someone who understands what you see, and what you dont see, will come along.

people really misunderstand me when i say i dont like to be around people. it's not that im unsociable, i just dont like to be around people i dont know because i'd have to explain to them why im so fucked up.
and that gets tiring.
i know its a bad habit, i need to be okay with meeting new people, but still.
im sorry im so fucked up.

fail.

changi airport.

arrived at changi airport an hour ago, after a long flight of 7 hours. i should've slept since i woke up at 3am today, but the movies & TV programmes being shown on the airplane was too tempting so i ended up sleeping for only 40min.

the last time i was here at changi airport, or in singapore for that matter, was for IASAS 2010. which brings back memories. and as i walked around the terminal, i found shops that we went before we left singapore and whatnot. oh how i miss IASAS.

anyways, now comes the waiting-for-5-excruciating-hours-at-the-airport part. actually, i've already gotten through 1 hour of it, so only 4 more hours left! i realized that my favourite nail polish brand, OPI is much cheaper in singapore than it is in Japan, like half the price, so i might consider buying a couple of colours :)

annnddd after that, 1 & 1/2 hr flight to Jakarta and finally getting to see Michelle & Johanna for the first time in three years! the last i saw them, i was in grade 8, and they were still like in lower school so i'm pretty excited to see how beautiful they've become :) and of course, im pretty psyched about seeing Kaisei as well,
'cause he must've only been like 7 when i last saw him.

alright, gonna go buy some OPI nailpolish now :)

we need to let go of our pride, let go of everything that's stopping us from doing what we really want to do.
the society's standards are fucked up. they give us false information as to what life should be like, and we get so caught up in trying to live up to that standard, we just can't be free anymore. 
who cares if people don't like what you wear, or your makeup, or the music you listen to? it's our lives, we are free to do as we please.
we only get to live once, don't take anything for granted. 

I may not be strong enough, but that doesn't mean I'm weak.

happy december :)

i havent written a legit blog post in so long, i'm starting to forget how to write "readable" sentences in english :p

it's finally getting colder in Japan, although not as cold as it was last year. can't wait till christmas when, hopefully, it'll snow :)

meanwhile....
it's the dreaded exam week for my school and i've had to study for the past week :( of course, procrastination is my best friend during the exam week :)
tomorrow's the last day and i've got maths, Japanese history and biology exams :o

but after that.... WINTER HOLIDAY <3
friday, Harry Potter marathon
saturday, catching up on watching drama episodes &
sunday, hair cut & nail salon
monday, going to the Universal Studio
tuesday, helping grandparents with their veggie store
wednesday, going to tokyo
thursday, shopping in tokyo
friday, going to jakarta :)

on a completely different note:
i've come to realize that there are some things that cant be changed no matter how hard we try. and thats just the way it is.
and if you try to change that with force, everything comes apart.
i dont know what good it'll be to know that, but it'll be useful somehow.

oh & another thing:
i found some pictures from middle school & it made me miss taiwan & middle school so much :(
