i see you across the room and for a second, we lock our eyes.
but nothing really happens anymore, because what we had is gone.
we lost it in the moment, caught up in our own insecurities.

in all honesty, i'm not going to let you see everything i'm doing at school. i wasn't even going to let you see anything to begin with, but you demanded. so i decided i'll let you see parts of it. i don't want you to know everything i'm doing, i'm not that open. i need my privacy, you can choose either to see nothing or some bits. everything is not an option.
